Paddling

Took the kayak out for a day of paddling on Cliff Lake, northwest of Yellowstone National Park. This area is still referred to as the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, which basically borders the park on all sides, consisting of state and National Forest lands. This lake has a light colored silt bottom which reflects the crystal clear water. Some areas look like you are floating in the Bahamas with colors of teal and turquoise depending on the depth of the water. A beautiful gem that not many people know of.
