Lower Falls
A rainbow appears at the brink of the Lower Falls, created by the rising mist, as the water plummets 308 feet below down the rocky Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This canyon is what some believe, gave Native Americans that habited this area, it’s name. The Yellowstone River’s headwaters originate at Yellowstone Lake, the largest lake above 7,000 feet.
